18 October 2022 – The City of Casey has taken a major step in its business transformation program, partnering with TechnologyOne to boost ‘future-readiness’ and improve engagement with the community.

Located in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, the City of Casey has announced it will transition to the TechnologyOne enterprise SaaS platform as part one of a multi-stage project.

City of Casey CEO Glenn Patterson said the Council will transition to the TechnologyOne Software as a Service (SaaS) platform as part of a broader focus on providing a foundation to improve customer experience.

“Creating an adaptable, innovative and financially sustainable organisation that delivers maximum community benefit is a strategic priority in our Council Plan 2021-25. Through this partnership we want to create and enhance customer channels to ensure we operate efficiently and ultimately provide interactions that are consistent, timely and deliver better outcomes for our community.

“The TechnologyOne OneCouncil SaaS solution, which includes the modern Property & Rating Ci Anywhere solution, will also help deliver Council’s Business Transformation and Innovation Strategy. The Strategy seeks to enhance future-readiness to ensure the City of Casey is adaptable, capable and sustainable into the future,” he said.

Ed Chung, CEO of TechnologyOne said he is honoured to renew the long partnership with the City of Casey.

“The team at City of Casey will be rolling out the latest version of our customer-centric Property and Rating system, and once implemented, will be a noticeable change for local residents. It provides built-in customer relationship management capability and delivers an enhanced online experience through the OneCouncil customer portal.” Mr Chung said.

“In the last ten years, we’ve helped more than 600 customers make the transition to modern SaaS and it’s a privilege to partner with the team at the City of Casey to help them deliver on their ambitious strategic plan,” he said.
