TechnologyOne plans to innovate at Microsoft Hack-week

Leading enterprise Software as a Service provider TechnologyOne will join a select group of Microsoft partners to participate in Microsoft’s Office Online Integration Hack-week event in Redmond, Washington in July.

“This invitation recognises the fantastic integration work TechnologyOne is developing in partnership with Microsoft,” says TechnologyOne Group Director R&D, Brett Hooker.

“We are one of the early enterprise software companies to integrate its applications with Office 365. This brings us one step closer to achieving our vision of making life simple for our customers through seamless integration and a superior user experience.

“At this five-day event, our team will immerse themselves in the technical logistics of building a Web Application Open Interface (WOPI) host for displaying content from our TechnologyOne applications in Office 365.”

During this deep-dive collaboration, Microsoft engineers and experts will be on-hand to provide guidance and expertise to expedite the development process. The final version will be sent to Microsoft for release via the Office Store.

Participating in events such as this Microsoft hack-week, is just one of many tangible commitments TechnologyOne is making to innovation and culture. The company runs its own regular schedule of hack days, and invests a considerable 20 per cent of revenue into Research and Development each year ‒ well above the industry average.Executive Chairman, Adrian Di Marco, also threw his support behind the government’s $1.1 billion Innovation Statement late last year, further reinforcing TechnologyOne’s commitment to innovation.
