TechnologyOne drives growth in Scotland
Leading enterprise software company TechnologyOne has set its sights on Scotland, signing three new enterprise customers this financial year and underpinning growth in the region.
Australia’s largest software company has indicated its intent to invest significantly in its UK operation, after opening a Glasgow office in 2013 and appointing executive leadership there in 2014.
“I am confident that we are beginning to see the UK region become a platform for growth for TechnologyOne,” said TechnologyOne’s Executive Chairman Adrian Di Marco.
“These wins reflect the market’s dissatisfaction with legacy systems that depend on complex customisations and restrict data access through outdated and proprietary interfaces.
“There is a clear need for innovative, flexible solutions that adapt and evolve to changing technology. Our preconfigured solutions provide accessible, real-time, accurate information and dramatically reduce the time, cost and risks associated with enterprise systems implementations.”
New customers include New College Lanarkshire, which is a newly formed business and will use TechnologyOne OneEducation to consolidate information from Coatbridge, Cumbernauld and Motherwell Colleges.
The software company also signed a third Scottish leisure centre, alongside Edinburgh and West Lothian.
TechnologyOne won over Infor Sunsystems, ABS Software, Microsoft® and Sage in tenders, with customers advocating TechnologyOne’s single, integrated enterprise system and intuitive user interface.
These wins follow the successful implementation of TechnologyOne’s OneFRS solution at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) last year, which has saved the fire service an estimated £340,000 per year in Service Level Agreement and maintenance costs.
SFRS was formed in April 2013 following the amalgamation of eight regional fire services, and used TechnologyOne’s preconfigured solution to get up and running in a rapid 11-month timeframe.
