TechnologyOne bolsters regional offices with appointment of new managers
TechnologyOne has bolstered its standing in two of its key regions with the appointment of John Speed as the State Manager for NSW and ex-MDS GM Peter Fulton as Regional Manager for South Australia and the Northern Territory.
John Speed has an impressive 20-year history in the software industry in Australia and New Zealand, most recently as Northern Region Manager at Supply Chain Consulting, part of Fujitsu Australia, where he was responsible for the operations and performance of the company across NSW, Queensland and the ACT.
Prior to this, he worked in sales director roles for IBM's Cognos and Mincom, where he was responsible for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, and PeopleSoft.
John also worked at JD Edwards in New Zealand for more than 10 years in sales, sales management and general management roles before it was bought out by PeopleSoft.
Peter Fulton has held General Manager and Director roles at four Australian software businesses, most recently at MDS (Manufacturing and Distribution Software Pty Ltd), where he was instrumental in refocusing all areas of the company, doubling sales figures and tripling profits.
Prior to this he spent six years at PROMADIS, where he helped the South Australian company realise the commercial potential of its considerable intellectual property by creating new product and distribution strategies, and overseeing the development of new export markets in South America, Asia and Europe.
Peter also established and grew his own successful software services company, Systems Dynamics, which merged with T Data in 1997, where he subsequently became a Director. He has also worked at Computer Associates and Fujitsu, holds an MBA, and is experienced in multiple accounting and enterprise systems.
TechnologyOne Executive Chairman, Adrian Di Marco, said both men were experienced and passionate leaders who came highly recommended within the IT industry.
"TechnologyOne's customers will benefit from their expertise and understanding of the industry, and our employees and regional offices will thrive thanks to their entrepreneurial and team leadership skills," Mr Di Marco said.
