ADVC is one of TechnologyOne’s first enterprise customers to be signed through the UK G-Cloud framework. The deal indicates an ongoing trend in the UK public sector, with an increasing number of councils replacing their incumbent solutions with modern, cloud-based enterprise software.
AVDC’s Leader Councillor Neil Blake said “TechnologyOne’s solution will help the council reduce its reliance on in-house managed systems, as part of its aim to remove all IT infrastructure.”

AVDC sought a cloud-based financials system to improve efficiency and functionality of its existing system. The council selected TechnologyOne’s enterprise solution after realising the benefits of a single integrated system across its entire business.
“TechnologyOne’s solution will empower our managers to take control of budgeting processes, and make quicker and more informed decisions with a complete view of financial performance,” Cllr Blake continued.
“We expect to save time and reduce costs by automating manual processes and removing duplication of data entry.
“OneCouncil will allow us to move towards a single enterprise solution covering all key services, bringing all the advantages of a fully integrated, end to end solution. This will also provide us with an opportunity to improve our business processes and become a more transparent and efficient organisation.”
